Biography
Father John Trigilio is a Roman Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, ordained in 1988. He was born and raised in Erie, PA, the son of the late John & Elizabeth Trigilio. He attended St. Mark High School Seminary & College Seminary and Gannon University and earned a B.A. in 1983; M.Div. in 1987; Ph.D. (Mediaeval Philosophy) in 1998; Th.D. in 2002.
He served as a parochial vicar (assistant pastor) in several parish assignments, worked in the Diocesan Tribunal and as a Catholic Hospital Chaplain, then as a pastor of two parishes for sixteen years in Marysville and Duncannon, PA. In 2013 he was an adjunct spiritual director and formation advisor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, MD, and in 2018 was appointed Director of Seminary Pastoral Formation. Currently, he is a formation advisor/spiritual director/professor-instructor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary.
